Aesthetically, this is very appealing. (Well.... you know what I mean.) Points to improve: The "skin" looks like some form of rubber or latex; fix it by giving the inner layer texture, and not having quite so large folds/peel-backs around the mouth. It looks like the prosthetic is only on the lower half of the face (the edges are visible); trying using scar wax or other such implements to blend the edges of the prosthetic into the rest of the makeup. It doesn't look like the mouth is easily movable either; make it so, and you've got it made.
I do love the bone structure, and attention to anatomy! The nasal area, especially. The amount of "blood" is also appreciated; not so much that it overshadows, but not too little, either. Nice work; keep it up!!
Hey, thanks for the CC! I think I got the blending of the skin better the next time I did it, pics here: [link] [link]
but it's still not as good as I wanted it to be, and not very movable. I have a 2-part silicone called 'Sculpt Gel' that I'm excited to try using, and hopefully I can use it in a similar way to the latex, but with a more realistic skin texture, and more flexbility/movability. When I make things with it, I will upload them.
Yes, the edges do look better in those pictures! Still needs a little work in some spots, but it's much, much better! I can not wait to see the results.
(IDK whether the normal eyes kinda diminish or creep me out more... wait... just visualized them whited out... fuck... yep... nightmares tonight. T_T )
